Guest guest
Our library has literally hundreds of workout tapes/DVDs of all different styles. I have determined that the " dancing " styles are NOT for me. The steps are too complex and fast for me to keep up in my workout-zombie mode, and most have a LOT of hip action, which, with lower back problems, I can't do. I like Chalene's Turbo Jam, and I'm glad I got the recommendation here, because it's not something I would have picked on my own. I like her encouragement through the workout, and her " permission " to do the moves according to my level. I also LOVE that she has a few of her crew doing low-impact versions of whatever is going on. No bouncing, Tigger! Uh, I mean I shouldn't do high impact to jar my back. My brain goes into autopilot when working out, so I need the leadership. What other instructors are like her??? Indyrose
Guest guest
> What other instructors are like her??? i know this isnt much help, but i just had to say that there is NOONE in the video world who is like chalene. she is one of a very special kind.... in my opinion, she is THE best trainer on video right now. cathe friedrich is also a very good instructor, but most of her workouts are too hard for me, so i only use a few of her videos. another long-time favourite is tracie long, who is also a very experienced and seasoned instructor. really though, my recommendation is to get more chalene johnson workouts!!! :*carolyn.
