Ultimate Cardio Workout (Next Move)

I finally did all 5 workouts on the Weight Watchers Next Move DVD. I've had it for over a year I'm sure and I have no idea what took me so long to do all of them but now I have. This morning was "Ultimate Cardio Workout" which is a funny name for a 20 minute workout especially now that she ( Dozois) has a DVD called "Ultimate Workout" which is more intense than this. However, this is a good little workout. She builds up two combinations (plus a warmup and stretch) in this one. Neither combination is connected to the other. Both are low impact and don't require a lot of room. I've done this quite a few times but not in a long time so it all came back to me but I did my usual stumbling too. One thing I noticed is that when I first started doing this workout I thought it was really intense. Today I know I was working really hard because I was putting everything into it but I felt like I had to do that to get a lot out of it (and I did). That's really good! :-) The DVD is marketed as intermediate level and while I wouldn't say this is beginner level but it isn't high intermediate either. 's cueing in isn't always great but it is good and the music is lively so I enjoy it a lot as a very quick get me in/get me out but let me feel like I actually did something cardio workout. This is a worthwhile DVD to have in your collection if you need quick workouts.

I just picked up at least one more class for my coworker whose house exploded for next week so again, I will have an extremely busy week next week. (DH said to me last night as I was finishing some baking for our church bazaar at 10:30, "You should take it easier tomorrow." I literally laughed out loud, hard, then said, "Too late! It's already planned!"). I want to workout at 5 days again, like I managed to somehow this week but it will have to be short workouts again. I'm thinking that instead of repeating these I might try doing some 10 Minute Solution workouts, especially ones I haven't tried yet. Maybe 2 each day, 3 if I have time for them. I'll have to think more on that plan later. I found that having the workouts already planned out I was able to get to my workouts much more easily. I looked forward to doing them (no dread for these) and knowing what I was doing meant I didn't have to do any thinking that day which helped a lot.
