i had the same problem after my c-section and was prescribed silicone sheets. i

had to wear them on the scar for more than a year before i saw any visible

results. it helped to reduce the sudden shooting pains but the scar remained

raised for a long time. the brand i was given is dermatix silicone sheet. worked

in the end but needed alot of patience, also i had to have it on 24hrs only

taking it off when in the bath so not sure if you could do the same with a

facial scar. u
