Hi,

I have made a few tinctures this past spring (Tea Rose, Almond Blossom- really a

winer blossom-, Viburnum and Bay Laurel to be precise)

now I would like to put them aside till thier season comes around again,

so i understood I should filter using a regular coffee filter and keep

refrigerated.

these are my questions -1. must we worry of the bleach in the coffee filters?

should I look for unbleached filters or does this not matter?

2. I remember while learning Chinese herbology my teacher mentioning that 10%

alcohol is enough to preserve, Tinctures are a much higher percentage, why would

they need refrigeration?

I would love to hear more information on these subject

Thank you

Hemla
