Several people who grew up in poor third world countries have talked

fondly about food made in clay pots. Been wanting to get some and

try myself.

the big one seems to be Romertopf, but does not sound like the

best.

This Micaceous kind sounds awesome- bit expensive though

Any experiences?

Do you mean just like the terra cotta ones you can get cheap? I know

I've seen all sorts of crafty recipes with them. We are getting a big,

used kiln in a few days that we'll have some fun with- maybe I can try

my hand at big pots to bake in one day.

I read in the archive about baking in clay pots. I'm going to get some

but what do you do to season them?
