Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Why is it that DD always has trouble sleeping on Sunday nights? This was the 3rd Sunday in a row that she woke me up - fortunately, I did still manage to get up for my workout - just a little later than I wanted to - so I wasn't able to do everything I had planned. I actually thought she was coming down with something last night b/c she had chills and said her eyes hurt - but she was fine this morning - (thankfully b/c we're expecting another snow session tomorrow and I'm sure schools will be cancelled and I hate to have her miss any day that they're actually OPEN!). Anyway, since I took Sat and Sun off due to houseguests, I wanted to get some good long cardio in today - so after doing my usual stretches, I walked a bit on the TM to warm-up (about 15 minutes gradually building my pace to 4.7 mph) then, I did Kathy 's Steady Strides workout # 2 - in this one she alternates 3 min of higher intensity (I jogged/ran) w/ a 3 min recovery (she does this 3X), then at the end, she does 2 cycles of 1 min anaerobic intensity/1 min recovery. My stupid CD/CD player wasn't working right - so after the first two intervals, I pulled the CD out of the player, put my own music in and finished up on my own. I also added one extra cycle of 1 min anaerobic/1 min recovery to the end. In an hour I covered 5 miles so, I'm happy w/ that. I then did some more stretching for about 10 minutes. I would have liked to add on Pilates or Classical Stretch, but I ran out of time. Tomorrow I'll likely do a 30 min cardio session - maybe , maybe TM , Charlene or the bike- and then a longer Pilates session. I really like my 90 minute sessions and I miss not getting them in. (Don't be overly impressed usually in my 90 min sessoins 30-45 min is PIlates or stretching - so it isn't like I'm going crazy with cardio or anything). Hope everyone has a good Monday!Donna

Guest guest
Hi Cheryl! Well, our sundays are always a little different than during the week - but I try to have things wind down fairly early and do the dinner, bath, etc. routine that we normally do - I'm not sure what it could be - last Sunday she had trouble sleeping and we were home all day, this Sunday she had trouble sleeping and we were out at a friend's house in the afternoon. I can't recall what happened the Sunday before! I'll have to think about it and see if there is some common thread! Thanks for the idea!Donna Subject: Re: Monday - TMTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, February 2, 2009, 1:44 PM is there something out of the normal routines that happen on sunday? different foods, company, visiting? salty foods or late dinner and needing to drink water in middle of night (that is my issue with my oldest it seems)>> Hi Everyone,> > Why is it that DD always has trouble sleeping on Sunday nights?
