Wow, from 75 - that's amazing!

It's amazing how we forget things. had a hard time sleeping

b/c he has a strap over one shoulder. He would toss and turn and cry.

I think that slight recline is the most comfortable for them at first

- stayed in his bean bag chair to watch TV, etc., until he

adjusted. So, I actually took one of those little head-rests from his

stroller (we had bought it as an insert) and I placed it under his

head where the cast was keeping his head above the bed (if that makes

sense). However, I can't say that I can recommend it b/c it's

probably goes again all the books to have a pillow or blanket like

that in the crib. I had to do what worked and be careful about it,

and watch him closely. He also had problems nursing on that side, so

I had to use the same pillow to elevate his head.

The good news is that he didn't need it very long b/c he actually

adjusted to the point that he could sleep right on the cast (with his

head hitting the cast and barely the bed), and he was fine.

Good luck,

(mom to , 21 months, in 2nd cast in California)
