Hi all,The SI joint was still making me limp this morning, so I took a ton of Ibu, loaded the gear into DH's car, and drove 75 miles to Lodi, CA for the ride. It was POURING! It didn't let up for a moment, and it even got windy. My entire group bailed on me. I met with some folks from my club before the ride, and they decided to go off to breakfast and wine tasting instead of riding. LOSERS! LOLOL. Just kdding. I don't blame them. They're the sane ones. I paid my race registration, so I rode. I didn't do any wine tasting because that's just sad when you're riding solo! I only stopped to use rest rooms, and kept on pedaling.

This course was flat, flat, flat, and it's a good thing because the steady rain and wind was enough, and it takes so much longer to brake in the rain. The course took us through some gorgeous vineyards. I love it when they plant roses at the end of each row. The Mokelumne river is also so beautiful.

I never felt so grateful to get back into dry clothes. Can you believe that my skin was all pruned up just like after a long swim! Hilarious I tried to eat the post ride dinner, but they hadn't counted on rain, and this was outdoors, and I was chilled to the bone by then. I threw the bike into the car, cranked up the heater, and ran it the entire way home. I am so glad to be back in my warm house. Ahhh!

By the way, my SI joint feels much better now! Riding seems to help it. Thank goodness. Tomorrow is a rest and foam roller day.Later gators!Angelcia
