Regarding the pain you were mentioning that you are not feeling. I

have had this disease for probably almost 20 years. I feel alot of

pain. I first had the elevated liver enzymes come back on a test,

before there was even a test for hep c. I always blew it off. The

test for A and B was negative and I always thought that I had liver

damage from my grandfather getting me drunk when I was little so he

could molest me. I honestly thought that is why the test came back

that way. Sorry if that is a little too personal, but I am blunt and

too honest sometimes. I found that secrets are what kept me getting

hurt and now I just don't keep any. Anyway, to answer your question.

Sorry if I got a little off topic there, from what I understand, each

person's journey with hep c is different and personal. Also, without

treatment, you could progress to the point of having some of the

other sypmtoms. I have nausea everyday. I combat this by eating. I am

very fat. lol. I have severe joint and muscular pain and I thought I

had rheumatoid. (my grandfather, mother and sister all do) I now find

out it is the hep. I am exhausted but I can't sleep. Be grateful you

don't have these symptoms yet and get treatment as soon as possible

if it is feasable and if not, some of the people here have had some

great resources available and I have saved them all, let me know if

you need any of them. (I have been a member of this group only a few

days, so I'm sure there is a lot more than I have seen) Best of luck

and health to you. I'm glad you aren't really feeling very bad yet.

That possibly means that after treatment you will walk away with

minimal liver damage. That is fantastic.

Thank you, Stacey, and I understand and appreciate your honesty. I was referring to physical pain, but often emotional pain can be so much worse. And I guess it is possible that my arthritis from the last 8 years or so is from the hep, do you suppose that treatment may make it go away or lessen? That would be wonderful. As for treatment, I will get it as soon as possible, once I get through the holidays, I do have good insurance, and I realize how fortunate I am. And I am also overweight, and although I would not say I feel exactly nausea, often my stomach does feel upset until I put the right food in it, not necessarily healthy food, I admit. If the hep has been causing this stuff, it would be nice if treating it also relieved some of it. I also have sleep apnea, which makes me more tired. I am being optimistic here, I believe I will get through this, lol, I am raising my 9 year old granddaughter and I know I am

committed for at least 9 more years here! I have also been caring for my elderly parents, although my father passed away this year, and he was very demanding and did not help my health. But we do what we have to do.scwilson1972 wrote: ,Regarding the pain you were mentioning that you are not feeling. I have had this disease for probably almost 20 years. I feel alot of pain.
