Guest guest Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 I'm on my third brew of KT, started in a quart jar with some localbucha on tap at whole foods. Left it to brew a while to get a nice scoby, it was pretty acidic but i enjoyed drinking it. Next batch was a gallon jar using the scoby from the first batch, came out delish! Now i have 2 gallon jugs, one with the original scoby and the other with the new one from the second batch. Both those look great. Love the KT and feeling pretty good with my results so far, thinking i'm ready to try CB. I think i understand the basic process, but wonder what size i should start with. I'm guessing you wanna pull off a consistent amount each day, what percentage is the optimum? How is the taste etc affected by various percentages?
