Guest guest
Hello, My son is 3 and has autism and is doing GFCF and various supplements. For several months we found pancreatic veg-enzymes were really helping his bowels but then we read up on enzymes and thought he'd be better on a broader spectrum product, so we switched to Digest Gold (enzymedica) a week ago. During the week an itchy rash has been slowly building up, now it is everywhere but his face - very mild just slightly bumpy skin but he is very itchy. It looks a bit like nappy rash on his bum but isn't really visible anywhere else. At the same time his behaviour has got a bit worse, more meltdowns etc, although it could be related to change in routine over holidays. Am I right in thinking that this reaction is probably good as it is die off and it will pass? How long should I give it before I give up and switch back to the old enzyme? Any advice much appreciated thanks jo
