I can only add what I see here with my 10yr old who is non verbal and profoundly autistic, his remaining biggie is horrendous meltdowns, often I have noticed shortly after the rage he brings up food into his mouth and is suffering from reflux, could this be an issue for your child? I know it causes dreadful pain with my boy, sorry if you have already ruled it out, just a thought.

Hi

The book says, for children aged 2 to 12.

Re: tantrums

Hello'1 2 3 Magic' is a good behaviouralist approach to challenging behaviour - you have to be ready to be really firm and consistent in applying sanctions (you decide the sanctions) but if you can do that, it works a treat. The book of the same name is available from Amazon.Am not sure you can use it on children as young as 2 though - I know your child is 7 but you said age 2 developmentally? Sorry, I cant look it up as I have lent both my books out.Zoe>> We have been treated at Breakspear for getting on a year now and > is doing very well on corrective nutrients and chemical cycle > treatments etc. He has been treated on GF/CF diet for a few years now > as well.
