Guest guest
I have a dry yearling, exposed for a June 11th kidding, a 4yr milker, just fresh (3/5/11) and milking 10#/day (see for sale page for reason I'm selling), and 3 new bucklings, pedigrees below, from *B, SG & 5*M+ lines (LOTS of MILK in these boys and some pretty breed character, too!). All does had the required testing done for Grade A requirements in January (TB, Brucellosis & Q-Fever) and were negative! Last CAE, CL & es tests were done in 2009, and all were negative, and I've tested negative for CAE for years! As soon as I recover from this Winter, I plan on getting the whole herd tested again. 2 BLACK Bucklings (4/1/11):S: *B JEKUTHIEL'S TYEE ANCHOSS: *B TAMAHNOUS TYEE (LA 1-05 85 VVA)SD: SG JEKUTHIEL'S PB CAYENNE 5*M (LA 4-03 88 VEVV)D: SG JEKUTHIEL'S PB CAYENNE 5*M (LA 4-03 88 VEVV) DS: ++*B SGCH COPPER-HILL W.F. I breed for temperament, MILK, and good confirmation. My herd is on DHIR & has several years of LA scores. Stop by and take a look! http://jekuthiel.com/forsale.htmlAnd for those local... I raised Katahdin Hair Sheep lambs out on pasture this past year. They were grass fed only, until Sept when I started supplementing with Alfalfa, and NO grain. They hung at 42#, with 25-30# meat when cut/wrapped. I had them cut in Neck Bones, Leg of Lamb, Shanks, Chops & Ground. I still have 2 lambs available for sale this year. Whole $300 or Half $175 (meat is frozen and ready to pick up!) The new lamb crop will be arriving in May, and you can put in your reservations for October, here:http://jekuthiel.com/grassfedlamb.html Here's a Facebook Fan page for those of you on FB for my Grade A Dairy!! http://www.facebook.com/JekuthielsDairy Still lots of books, DVDs, VHS tapes and more on Amazon!
