Guest guest
Nissa, I love that you found your voice. It has been my experience that this illness has actually brought my husband and me closer than I ever thought possible. I have learned to ask for what I need and also to ask when not to help me, and most important to thank him daily (if not more often) for all that he does and for the kindness and love in which he does for me. In an odd kind of Karma as you said, my husband is also disabled. He's a veteran and he has not only Post Traumatic Stress Disorder but also has had surgery on his spine (C3-4 & 5) and also will need a knee replacement on the bad knee, and proably arthroscopy on the " good " knee.... so I do for him when I can and he does for me. Together we make it work.... peace and love to you and your wife, -Jo In a message dated 12/25/2008 12:01:18 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, nissapenland@... writes: ..
