That is so sad. A family in my town lost everything due to a fire 4 days

before Christmas. It was fortunate that the family was not at home at the

time. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their family.

I just found out tonight that a gal I work with, her neice had their

Christmas tree fall on a candle on Christmas Day and it took their

whole house. I guess the fire was so hot that the firefighters had to

step out of it. I can't even imagine - losing your things though

would be a lot easier to handle then losing loved ones. It would

still be hard though not having pictures. I know I talked to my kids

ONE more time tonight what to do if there is a fire in our house. I

can just see them trying to find us instead of just getting outside. A

fire anytime isn't good but it seems like it would be even harder at

holiday time. But, the families from 9-11 aren't having an easy

holiday time either. Life.

I'm sorry to hear that le. It is a huge

tragedy. It must be very hard for them right now.

Trees must be kept watered and an eye on. It can

literally take seconds for it to engulf.
