Hey all,

Wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the awesome chats you carry on here,

even though I don't comment much, it's so great to read up on how your doing and

the educational stuff has been great lately too.

I've had a bit of a rough patch as of late... first a bacterial infection, now a

painful fungus in my throat and mouth. Then today at my doc's office she

randomly says " I think you might be diabetic " , so were running some labs to

check. That was just about the last thing I expected to hear!

It's not that diabetes would be the worst thing, heck I've lived through enough

pain with Stills, diabetes would probably be a cake walk... It's just that it

has been everything at once in my life. Husbands job cut his hours more than in

half, creditors calling every day, I've receintly taken on additional work to

try and make up for our depleted bank account and I'm running myself into the

ground staying up late trying to get all my work done. Meanwhile the laundry

hasn't been done in 3 weeks and my Christmas decorations are still up. Sometimes

it's the little things that push us over the top, you know?

Anyway love to all who are dealing with this illness, the pain, the family

struggles and so much more than I can even imagine. You are all my insipration

to stay possitive.

On a good note, my hubby made me delicious tomatoe soup that almost made me

forget about the rest of my day.

Hugs dear family,

Lori
