Guest guest
Geez nna you have added another one to my WATCH OUT list ... of course this has NOTHING to do with you but with how our Federal Government and how they set up a system to increase OPPORTUNITIES/GROWTH for adults who can CONTRIBUTE to our communities. Geez, this is a marathon with potholes ... ugh. In our family, my DS is being helped by a wonderful college program at Midwestern State University and DARS even decided to support the program. I also want to tell you that Senator Shapiro <my Texas Senator> and House Representative Farabee, Wichita Falls, TX funded this program through the State Appropriations Bill for the next two years. Wow, you are clearing timber and making progress. Way to go on your positive :>) and helpful insights for others here on this listserve. Guest guest
By the way, we have used EVERY single SSI dollar to give my DS greater options and growth, so you would think the US Government might see a flip side to the way they are " accounting/LOL no rhyme or reason " controlling SSI for Special Need families.
