Let me just say this straight off - I don't think you have failed, in

my book you've only failed when you have given up trying, and you

tried to workout despite feeling ill, so huge congratulations on

keeping going and your decision to look after yourself

I don't know anything much about PCOS so suggest that getting to know

as much about it as possible will probably be a good thing for you

I just checked it out on a search engine for you and came up with

http://www.pcosupport.org/ apparently there are 2 programs on 9th

and 10th of January about this.

Hi ,

I totallyl agree with Jill. I didn't know what PCOS was, so I had to look

it up. I was going to post the same website as Jill did and tell you about

it. You have not failed at all. Please don't ever think that. And it

doesn't mean that you have to give up Taebo. Stick with us. We will be

here for whatever type of support that you need!!

Big hugs!

Thank you Jill!

I've found that website before, actually I found lots

of websites about PCOS. I even bought a book about it.

It's strange when something like this is happening to

you,you think " why me " but now I read about all this

women that are dealing with it. The best thing is I'm

not alone.

Well,if I didn't failed in my challenge then I'm

sticking with it...I really want to do it.

Thank you for your support

First of all, as Jill mentionned, you did not fail! I adhere firmly

to her saying that failing is when you stop trying.

Second, I don't know much about PCOS, but I do know that it is an

affliction suffered by many women. I seriously doubt that you will

not be able to lose any weight. I believe however, that like

hypothyroidism, PCOS slows down your metabolism and makes weight loss

more of a challenge.

Dealing with things like these make us stronger in the long run, and

you have to try and find the positive aspects of any obstacle that

you run through in your life. I firmly believe that obstacles are

things that come in our way as a way of sending us a " message " that

it is time to learn something new about ourselves.

Anyways, you know by now that you come here for support whenever you

want to!

Janick,

thanks for your words. I know that I'll be able to

lose weight but not that fast and the point is you do

gain some weight again. It's going to be strugle most

of the time. Oh well..I'll live with it

Thank you, everyone for your support. It really does

Hugs to you !!!! Ditto on what everyone else has said - you

have NOT failed. You are starting a new journey - one with a few more

challenges but you are not letting this rule your life. You are

educating yourself which I think is wonderful - just remember that

just because the doctor said you won't lose weight doesn't mean that

you won't. Every person is different. IT might be harder but that

doesn't mean it is impossible. I'm sorry that you are going through

this!

I'm sorry because I have to go through this too

but, that is life. I'm not going to feel sorry for

myself anymore,I was so depressed this last 4 days and

I'm tired of that. You guys have all been great and

there for me. Just reading your posts made me feel

better. I'm living in the UK on my own,all of my

family and friends are back at home,so I was really

feeling lonely this past days. I didn't told my family

because I didn't want them to worry. But I've told

you,my taebo family:)))) and it really helped. Just

the fact that you read my post and replied means a

lot.

I hope that everything is going to be all right with

you le

I'm sorry to hear about that. Don't worry about not

being able to complete the challenge. Take care of

yourself and start to feel better.

I am so sorry you are going through this! I have a " chronic condition " too so

I know how hard it can be to deal with. But basically you have two choices:

let it control your life, or say " hey PCOS, bite me! I am going to be happy

and healthy even with you around! " One thing I have learned is that a

positive attitude can overcome anything!! If you believe in your mind that

you CAN and WILL lose weight, then you will. Don't let the doctor scare you!

Take care of yourself and believe in yourself!!

It's about 70 miles north of London. I guess you're aware of the

north/south 'divide' amongst the English LOL - well I'm originally

from East Yorkshire which is definitely " up North " , so borough

is 'southern' to me LOL.

I moved down to Cambridge to go to college, then I moved a short

distance to borough for my first 'career' job after I got my

degree

Jill

who wants to move back north because it's more beautiful to me.

Jill,

I'm avare..lol..I was in Cambridge last year and I

loved it. Basingstoke is sometimes really dull and

grey. I like towns like Reading and Cambridge more.

During the summer I've spend one week in Somerset and

I liked it there more then here in the south...

,who is typing and looking at the map:LOL

I hated Cambridge when I lived there - everyone was unfriendly and

rude compared to my hometown. I enjoy visiting it now because of all

the great bookshops though.

borough is different again being friendly, spacious and a nice

mix of old and new (a lot of the industry got bombed out during WWII

and it's been well planned and developed)

If you enjoyed Somerset you'll love up north, the scenery is great

and Scotland is spectacular if you get chance to visit.

Jill

who'd like to go explore Somerset and the southwest

Jill

I would rather live in the north instead of here. It

was much nicer up there. Don't even mention the

bookshops,I have more books in english here then I

have at home in macedonian. I loved Somerset,I was

going in Dunster every day. Have you ever been there?

You probably have.

I've heard about Scotland,I would really like to go

there but I'm not sure that I can understand their

accent:)

Thanks !

I know you're right and I'll try to think positive.

I'll lose weight,I know that. I'm going to do my best

and there would be results. But you know what is

funny:LOL...I can't believe that I'm going to tell you

this. After my fiasco with the work out yesterday,I

had another go today and it was fine but I was singing

" Shake your bootie " almost all the time.

PS. Don't tell this to :LOL (i could't help

it,that song was on the tape)

I TOTALLY AGREE, the power of belief is truly awesome.

A sacary thing to remember is that whatever you consistently think

about and believe in, be it good or bad, you will experience.

Jill

who's working on the pma thing - positive mental attitude.
