Guest guest Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 I made the Velveeta cheese recipe using the Chevre that I made. That was about 4 days ago. I store it in a plastic container in the refrigerator. I added yellow food coloring gel to the cheese when I made it and it turned it slightly yellow. Today when I opened the container....the cheese was white again and the top of the cheese was purple. Is this the food coloring coming out of the cheese or is something wrong?
