Wow I really admire your self control. There has been junk in

the office all week here, and I did not resist! I picked a little

bit of everything... and it tasted soooo good. I guess I'm a little

bit more lax about this stuff now that I don't need to lose weight

anymore, but I still try to control myself somewhat.

Be ready to get major looks and comments this weekend! I've had tons

of those in the last few months: like people not recognizing me or

telling me that I MUST be sick or anorexic or something to the liking!

I remember when you were complaining about that a few months ago.

Geez, now I really understand why you were complaining, because it

does get on my nerves. My boss has been hounding me, asking me

everyday if I'm sure I'm not sick. The other day, she came in my

office and talked to me about the dangers of denying anorexia...

This morning, I was up in our operating room, and a surgeon asked me

if I was sick, cuz I had lost so much weight. When I told him that I

was fine, he said, " well, you look fantastic! " At least I didn't get

the " well, you're too skinny! " that I now get very often. I'm NOT

too skinny, I'm normal.

At least, my mom has stopped harassing me! She had been worried

about me for months... but now she tells me, I know that you are not

anorexic, cuz you eat like a horse! Wow thanx mom! LOL

Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that I understand what you went

thru, and it is definitely a pain in the a$$

Way to go, ! Actually, that's similar to my brag: I didn't eat any of

the desserts set out at work this week! We did good! Have a great time

with your family. Let us know about the compliments.

I KNOW exactly what you guys are talking about!! I think the

anorexic stuff really has to go. I'm about 143 pounds, 5 " 5' and I've

been asked/told that I was anorexic. People are sometimes crazy...

I had another girl/acquantice tell one of my friends that I look

*sick*, and that I looked much better before... lol.. Maybe it has

something to do with the fact that she has a LOT more weight on her

than me and maybe it's just a bit of jealousy. I just laughed it off

when I heard. Ha...whatever. Anyway, just had to chime in here and

say I know exactly what you guys are talking about..

Darcy who was off of work today and REALLY enjoyed her day... <next

Hey ,

Yup, just like broken cookies don't count, 'cuz the calories leak out. And if

you drink diet soda with your meal the calories don't count 'cuz it negates the

calories?!?!? LOL!!!!!

Tofu spread sounds interesting? What would you use it for?

Sandie, Tae and Bo who one day will make another attempt at using tofu--the

first one didn't go so well :o)!!!!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

Dear Group -

Happy Brag Day! I haven't had any huge brags lately, but am still kicking

away. I did basic taebo everyday (but x-mas day) this week and have recently

done ALOT of shoveling (I live in Buffalo!), which is a great workout.

I hope you all have a wonderful New Years!

I also understand about readjusting. I'm back to my normal schedule

at work today, and was unable to get up to get to the gym this

morning. After 2 nights of hardly sleeping (we are sleeping in the

basement and my inlaws are in our bedroom), I was having a great

night sleep and pressed the snooze button... oh about a gazillion

times this morning!

However, I do plan to do a basic tape tonight and get back into gear

at the gym tomorrow morning!

Janick

who is happy to be at work today, and not with her inlaws at home!

Great brags everyone. Also way to go challengers!! Everyone seems

to be doing very well.

My brag for the week would be that I finally accepted the fact that

I've gained a few pounds and I'm ready to *nip* it in the butt

(thanks Janick :) ). As of yesterday I am back on track with

journalizing again. I hope I can do it. One thing that I add extra

in my journal is a rating of 1 - 10 on how I did for the day. I

enjoy doing that. It makes me work harder to get a good number. I

had a 9 yesterday :)

Darcy who misses and hopes that school doesn't take ALL of her

time away from us :)

Congratulations! I'm glad you finally found what works best for you. By the

way, a 3 hour walk/hike is definitely a workout in my book, especially when

accompanied by children who are bursting with energy. :):)
