live in Alfred, New York (Allegany County). meghansnyder@... I live on a dairy farm where I consume and help produce raw cows milk.In New York it is illegal to sell raw milk without a raw milk permit. My family has a raw milk permit and is certified organic through NOFA-NY LLC.Our farms website is sunnycovefarm.com My Father is very involved in trying to get raw milk more easily available to the public and out of the States control. He proposes to have NOFA-NY LLC control the regulation of raw milk in New York.My family is researching and hopes to start making cheese-mainly mozzarella, Cheddar (mild, sharp, and extra sharp), Colby, and ricotta. We also would like to make raw milk yogurt.
