Guest guest
raw milk is too sweet to me since I gave up the use of all sweeteners. I much prefer consuming raw yogurt and raw kefir. they are also lower in carbs so I would recommend those if you have blood sugar issues. I also find that the yogurt and kefir are more filling and satisfying to me, especially the yogurt since I can eat it vs. drinking it. > > I often would love to just have raw milk say...for lunch. Sometimes I do have kefir that I have made... for lunch and that will be all. However, I seem to have some blood sugar issues. I was tested years ago for hypoglycemia(when I was very sick with Lyme) and the verdict was that I had reactive hypoglycemia. Since I have been treating my chronic lyme and eating better (still some bad habits) I seem to be better. I am concerned about the milk sugar in the milk causing problems and feel as if I should be combining the milk with other protein. I have heard some raw milk advocates say that you should cut out raw milk if you have blood sugar issues but I am not sure that I want to believe that. It would seem that if the milk has high fat content...that that would conteract the lactose. Does anyone have any comments on this.? > Margie T >
