Would like to add my own personal experience with raw milk. Simply put, I lost weight. I am positive it was because something my body needed was being satisfied with the milk and any odd cravings I had, were just gone, no more snacking

trying to satisfy some urge, you know, that feeling you are hungry but don't know what for......... and to add an interesting note..... I am a cream skimmer, ha ha, give me that cream right off the top and I think I have died and gone to heaven, lol.....my sister thought I was nuts, said I was going to really put on the pounds, but in fact, I lost weight and feel very 'nutritionally' satisfied!!

I have never been what I would call overweight, gain a few winter pounds, but always loose it in the summer, after adding the raw milk to my diet I became very slender, not skinny, just slender.

and even if I had of gained a few extra pounds, I would not trade this wonderful feeling of being nutritionally satisfied for all the tea in China!! ha ha

raw milk cures many diseasesit could help with wt. loss. High fat, low carb is good for wt. loss. I wouldn't worry about the fat in raw milk since it's the good kind of fat. here's how much fat is in raw milkhttp://www.raw-milk-facts.com/what_is_in_raw_milk.html

I agree about being more filling. I have never been a sweets person, but love the tangy falvor of yogurt and kefir even more than the raw milk. I used to make yogurt all the time. Looking fowrad to doing so again as my schedule changes this Thursday and I will have even more time to devote to my food, etc. which has been a long term passion (best/ healthiest, etc.)

Far as convenience for the busy person, that is what I love about raw milk as a meal. Yogurt is not that time consuming, but I’m glad I still like the straight raw milk sometimes. Good point for those with blood sugar issues to do those other products!

raw milk is too sweet to me since I gave up the use of all sweeteners. I much prefer consuming raw yogurt and raw kefir. they are also lower in carbs so I would recommend those if you have blood sugar issues. I also find that the yogurt and kefir are more filling and satisfying to me, especially the yogurt since I can eat it vs. drinking it.

> I often would love to just have raw milk say...for lunch. Sometimes I do have kefir that I have made... for lunch and that will be all. However, I seem to have some blood sugar issues. I was tested years ago for hypoglycemia(when I was very sick with Lyme) and the verdict was that I had reactive hypoglycemia. Since I have been treating my chronic lyme and eating better (still some bad habits) I seem to be better. I am concerned about the milk sugar in the milk causing problems and feel as if I should be combining the milk with other protein. I have heard some raw milk advocates say that you should cut out raw milk if you have blood sugar issues but I am not sure that I want to believe that. It would seem that if the milk has high fat content...that that would conteract the lactose. Does anyone have any comments on this.?
