Guest guest
On Jun 10, 2012, at 3:49 AM, " Hemla " > Hemla, You do not need to refrigerate tinctures. Hydrosols benefit by refrigeration, as do citrus essential oils, but tinctures are sufficiently preserved as is and do not need the cold. I usually use cheesecloth to strain my preparations. Not sure whether you risk anything by using bleached filters - that is a question for a chemist. But if unbleached filters are readily available, why not use them?
