Theoretically by the numbers even battery chicken eggs 6 months old

from the typical grocery should be fine. However even with the odds

in my favor I wouldn't touch these with a 10 foot pole.

Ideally you should know where your eggs come from and even be able

to pick them up at the source. Simple freshness and a sheer lack of

insane husbandry will make for a completely safe raw egg.
