Guest guest
Hi Rochelle,'s brace has the Velcro in the back. His does not overlap. You can see what his looks like in the album, 's Brace.We/he has never had a problem with it. It is the hard plastic type.Hopefully since Devyn has had such great success this time out will not set him back. Keep us posted.TashaRochelle West /Devyn West wrote: I have a question for all of you that have the harder plastic braces. Has anyone ever had the closer in the back of the brace? Devyn is recieving his third brace and I just spoke with the brace guy today. They could not get the orthoplast from the distributer so they made it out of polyethylene I think or something close to that. It is the harder plastic and is not as breathable as his previous two braces. My concern is he also said that the closer is in the back of the brace and he has always had them on the side. I worry it will not be comforatable to sit in the car or sleep because he will have a bump in his back where the brace overlaps. Just wanted to know what the rest of you think. We are needless to say a little concerned. Devyn has been without a brace almost a month because the guy that usually makes his brace was on vacation. I know Devyn was at 0degrees but the point in another brace was to make sure we hold him there not go without. Thanks for any answers or suggestions Rochelle mom to Devyn 2 and 1/2yrs Infantile Scoliosis, Chiari1

Will keep you posted and will post pictures this weekend. We ar ejust concerned because all the other brace have overlapped where they close.
