Guest guest
Hi, we have been following yaskos work. I have to say I dont think it has improved our son . However, using her products and dmsa suppositories have produced big metal pulls. We have had improvement in from HBOT and nizarol. He used to suffer with chronic constipation ie he would have a poo every 9 days but now is pretty much daily. We still do go through periods when he may miss 2 days. Personally I think detox causes daniel yeast and bacterial problems which inturn causes constipation. We have not tried the yasko metals yet. A few people I have spoke to have said that these really worked. Yasko seems to be all about methalation and detoxifying naturally through this, but you hear of lots of tempory regression in these periods. Its very expensive to do yasko properly, which may be part of the reason we have not had as many improvements as we would have liked for. There is no research on alot of things that she says but like all things in the autism biomedical field research is scarce. I dont know where you live but the generation rescue new film is being released on thursday and being shown at Birmingham university. Sandy and Tim (incredible people) are introducing it. Their son Eddie is recovered. Another problems with yasko is that you end up with your child on so many different supplements its hard to know which is working and which is not. My only advice would be what ever you do go slow (I have not done this enough in s treatment). Knowledge is power and you need to know what is working for your child and what is not. The genetic test we had done for daniel was very expensive and I think this was not worth the money we paid. For example our genetic testing suggests that needs MB-12 because he is com --. This did not work for . I know of others who are com ++ who are not supposed to have MB-12 (based on her theory) but this has worked for their child. If you do decide to do yasko again go slow and alot of yasko and DAN does tie into each other there does tend to be more research on anything DAN suggests. take care dave To: autism-biomedical-europe From: rabab_abedi@...Date: Tue, 15 Apr 2008 13:31:49 +0000Subject: FW: Amy Yasko - reposting....please reply! HiI posted this a few days ago but only got one reply. Has no one else on this forum considered following the Yasko protocol? Any views on it - positive or negative?ThanksRabab From: rabab_abedihotmailTo: autism-biomedical-europe Subject: RE: Amy YaskoDate: Sun, 13 Apr 2008 22:36:35 +0000Hi Has anyone on this site used the Amy Yasko protocol? I am very interested in finding out if people have had more success with her than with DAN....or managed to combine the two. We had Yasko SNPs done for our daughter recently and the results suggest that a lot of her current supps (including her milk formula - Neocate) are actually harmful to her. It is quite upsetting to think we might have spent a year of our daughter's life on treatments that are not helping her and I am wondering where to progress from here.BestRabab Get fish-slapping on Messenger Play now!
