Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks Margo www.miraculousbeads.com ***************************************  HI Margo  I don't think reducing the alcohol is the answer. By their very nature, natural perfumes are more fleeting than commercial perfumes which contain chemical fixatives. You didn't say which EO's you are using. If they are largely top notes, then it will fade very quickly. You can try boosting the base notes and/or middle notes. I add a bit of glycerine to my perfume which seems to slow down the evaporation. You could try that. You could also try the blend in an oil base instead of an alcohol base, or even make it as a solid perfume.  Patty Ganache for Lips http://www.ganacheforlips.com
Guest guest
THi, Patty: Thanks for responding to my post. I am using jasmine sambac absolute I did boost the base and middle notes and did add some glycerin before I posted this message. I guess I'm expecting instant gratification - but I'll just have to be patient and wait for about six weeks. Thank you for your suggestion on making solid perfume which I have also tried with other eo's but also found it not too long lasting. I am assuming that natural perfume needs to be reapplied after a few hours depending on the person's body chemistry.  People with dry skin tend not to hold scents for too long. Thanks much Margo www.miraculousbeads.com
