Great job with the workout ! I didn't realize you had bought Chalean! I haven't yet :( I'd love to, but I'm trying to refrain...........Great news with DH and the jobs! I hope he gets the bigger paying one (of course)!

Hi everyone!

I had a GREAT workout today! I did ChaLEAN Extreme Burn Circuit 2, then followed it up with the kickboxing and plyometric workouts from Dozois' 10 Minute Solution Carb Burner and ended things with the standing routine from Tamilee Webb's Beginner's Stretch for Flexibility (or something like that).

Burn Circuit 2 was very fun! I liked it better than BC 1. If I remember right, BC 1 was mostly simultaneous combination exercises (doing two or more different moves at once) and I don't do as well with those as I do with the type that were in BC 2 which I think of as consecutive combinations (do one thing and then do another thing as part of a combination but not doing them at the same time). The exercises seemed more conventional and, therefore, more familiar too which I liked. I loved the pushups (which were less conventional) at the end! Very challenging but in a fun way.

Adding on the high intensity cardio from helped me burn more calories and energy! Tamilee's stretch was okay, I need more. My hamstrings are sore and tight from the 2 BC workouts I've done so far. I need to work on them more (she says but doesn't do much about it). I'm not feeling much in my arms yet though, I'm also not going to failure that much, I'm still trying to figure out how much weight I need, I tend to pick too light I'm finding.

Tomorrow I have a doc appointment first thing in the morning but I'm only working in the afternoon and taking the evening off so I might be able to work out after my meeting. I have to see how the appointment goes first. I have a bump on my chin that is painful. I hit it either with a door or with a weight (or both?) sometime in the last couple of weeks and the bump isn't going away. I had upper and lower jaw surgery and a chin reduction due to severe TMJ 20 years ago and the bump is in an area that is still mostly numb from nerve damage but there is enough sensation that it is uncomfortable and the bump worries me (once a cancer survivor always a worrier) so I decided to have it checked out to see if I didn't do something bad or if there's something else going on. Assuming it isn't anything serious, I would like to get a workout in tomorrow. I have Burn Intervals on the schedule and am very excited to try that one.

Gotta tell you all too, DH had an interview today that went really well he thinks. It turns out a guy we both used to work with works at this company and when the person DH interviewed with was showing his resume around to see if anyone knew him, the guy recommended they bring in DH! We won't know for at least 2-3 weeks and the other company he interviewed with Monday that offered him a position (with low pay) wants an answer in 2 weeks or less so we'll have to see what happens... it is all good though, we're very thankful for the opportunities. Please keep thinking, praying, sending good vibes and whatever else you've got! Thanks!

Hi ,

Great job with your workouts! Sounds like you really enjoyed them,

too!

And so glad to hear the news about your DH's jobs! I hope he hears

back from the other one so he can decide soon. :)

Good luck at the doctor!
