Guest guest
, I wish goats milk was okay for me, as I love the plain yogurt you can buy at the Health Food Store. I also tried the goat cheese, but it was bad for me too. I usually judge my allergies by my eczema. I only have it on my hands, but within a few minutes of eating something I not suppose to, I get really dry itching skin on my fingers. The reason I went off grains is, I was desperate for a solution to my heartburn of 4 years. I tried the Ezekiel sprouted bread. Can't remember which kind but my hands got itchy and I got heartburn. I love bread, rice etc. I do eat a lot of potatoes. All kinds. . .yellow, red, sweet potatoes, and the regular ones. I have had to cut out sweet potatoes ( love em) as they are a bad one for me too. I too have trouble with chicken eggs. They make my hands itch very very badly. I love the idea of really focusing on the foods you can eat and truly enjoying them. I think part of my problem with feeling bad about not eating so many foods is that everyone else seems to feel so badly for me. I will concur this. . .Thanks so much for the wonderful input Sheryl Sheryl Illustrations http://dovedesignsrus.com
Guest guest
All of your symtoms could also be related to your liver function. Skin problems are usually caused by faulty liver function and so can things like indigestion and heartburn. You may want to fast on Beiler's broth or juice those same veggies (but add dandelion leaves too). I would take lots of dandelion, the #1 liver herb. It is a tonic herb that can only help you, not hurt you,.... Guest guest
Becky, Is the recipe for Beilers broth at the home of the group somewhere? I would think the dandelion would also help my low iron. . .right? I wondered about the liver thing. When I first started getting this horrible heartburn, I told the doctor my bowel movements were very light in color. He said not to worry because they come in all colors. Instead of going with my gut (no pun intended), I listened to him and didn't think about it much, until now. I recently added in spinach to my diet and my BM's have darkened. Which I think is very positive. Sheryl beckymauldin2001 <beckymauldin@...> wrote: All of your symtoms could also be related to your liver function. Guest guest
Sheryl, I'm also thinking the beet kvass (from NT along w/Beilers broth recipe) would have iron and the pro-biotics in it would help w/the iron assimilation in the intestines. We love it and so far all the friends I've given some to agree...it tastes good! > Becky, > > Is the recipe for Beilers broth at the home of the group somewhere? > > I would think the dandelion would also help my low iron. . .right? > > I wondered about the liver thing. Guest guest
The recipe is in Nourishing Traditions. Or you can just juice celery, zucchini, dandelion leaves, a bit of carrot and parsley. Just as effective as Bieler's broth or more so as it is not cooked. I try to have a couple of glasses a day... This is great for your liver. Dandelion root will help with the low iron, but ideally you should eat liver. A bowel cleansing program would probably be beneficial for you also. With a liver flush following it.... Bernard Jensen has a good program. > > > > , > > > > I wish goats milk was okay for me, as I love the plain yogurt you > can buy at the Health Food Store. Guest guest
Lightly cooked liver is better than no liver! --- In , Sheryl <dovedesignsrus@y...> wrote: > Becky, > > I have a juicer and will try this until I get my book. > > I really do love liver. . .but I don't think i could do it raw. . .is cooked okay? > > I will look up Bernard Jensen and see what i can find. > > Thanks so much > Sheryl > >
