I've been lurking for quite some time and I have really enjoyed the humor and

the vast

nutritional knowledge of this group - it's really impressive! NT has profoundly

changed my life and it's great to see what other people have experienced. I am

really

busy chasing my toddler around so I don't get a chance to post, but I have been

dying

to ask some questions so I can see what all of you with your expertise have to

tell me!

My family is eating wholly NT (except for leavened bread) and I finally feel

right about

a lot of things now. Quitting sugar was a big one! Now I am eating full

(healthy) fat

food and meat and eggs and so many problems have gone away - but I suspect that

I

need more help. I can really relate to the Janice/Sheryl thread . I suspect that

I have

blood sugar stability problems (my grandfather and father are adult-onset

diabetics

and I also lost both grandmothers to pancreatic cancer) and that my gut is a

mess - I

have had IBS for years. I'm thinking that I may have gluten/casein and/or leaky

gut

issues as well as chronic allergies.

I am greatly encouraged by my NT diet but, I sense I'm not quite there yet with

these

health issues I feel like there is more I need to do. So, I am considering doing

an

intensive cleanse and forgoing the gluten & casein for awhile. I am curious to

try

enzyme supplementation, HCl, and so forth.

Does anyone have experience with these and any suggestions or books I should

read?

Or, for that matter, any testing I should do?

TIA, Cyndy
