[there are smaller more remote villages yet]... it's all mountains and valleys... nearest shop to us was 13km away... nearest supermarket in a town 30km away... the village is visited by various suppliers in vans [once a week by the butcher, same with the fishmonger and a local farmer with seasonal and very fresh fruits 'n' veg. and 3 times a week by the baker/patissier]. for the rest you have to drive down the mountain in what, at places, is a real 'white-knuckle-ride'.. we missed the annual wild boar hunt because of the heat wave and the 'fete de cochon' in autumn.... still... what a place... can't wait to go back... Maybe because we raised pigs when l was learning to talk.
