Tamilee Webb: Cardio Blast + TK R35, sections 2,3, and 4

Tonite for cardio I did Tamilee's Tighter Assets Cardioblast. It is

30 minutes long, and she has two background exercisers, one who

resembles my cousin who cheated on her husband (who is a great guy),

so I had trouble " connecting " with the people in this one for personal

reasons.

The workout itself is very nicely put together, just simple hi-lo

moves strung together, adding in a new combo here and there and taking

it from the top. There were three or four sets total.

This would be a good workout if you already knew the routine, as

Tamilee 1) cues late 2) cues off the beat and not always at the top of

the musical phrase 3) can't cue left or right, only says " this side "

which means she's uncomfortable mirroring her cueing. She herself is

lovely and I normally like her, but she could have cued a little

better. I only burned 147 calories as a result, though I did skip the

cooldown because I knew I wanted more cardio.

I popped in my Turbo Kick Round 35 cd and did sections 2, 3 and 4 on

my own, which total approximately 21 minutes and burned 175 calories.

It just goes to show you that when you know the choreography well and

don't need to think about it too much you can put more " umph " into it

and get a better workout!

I'm sure if I did cardio blast again tomorrow I'd burn more calories

because I'd know what to expect in advance and get more power in my

movements. I thought I had done this one before but I must be

confusing it with another of her workouts.

I enjoyed having my HRM to get the calorie count!

I am always sorry I got rid of my Tighter Assests workouts. Hey, they next time you do that workout and see the "cheater", it would be great incentive to work harder. :-)
