Guest guest
I am sure there are those of you who do receive this newsletter, but for those who don't...this is what it said today. " Thanks to all those who have helped us reach our surgical patient goals! With your help we have been able to identify the genetic markers for scoliosis. We are now in the proces of validating our research in anticipation of the release of our scoliosis prognostic test in the near future. As we move into this phase of research, we need your help! " We are now looking for individuals who: * Were diagnosed with scoliosis between the ages of 9 and 15 * Were first diagnosed with a mild curve (preferably between 5 and 24 degrees) *Had 4 or more office visits with a scoliosis doctor during their childhood/adolescence *Have finished their growth and their curve did not progress beyond 39 degrees (mild to moderate) Now I know this doesn't pertain to most of our children here due to the age bracket they are testing...however I know some of you are active on other boards where there may be children who do fall into these age ranges. So, I guess you could just pass it along. Their toll free number is Tracey
