Guest guest
Hi Darcy and Stacey! Just wanted to say that you both amaze me w/ how you take care of multiple kids! I'm not sure I'd emerge sane, just having one is sometimes close enough to the edge for me. Being a SAHM has got to be one of the toughest jobs, if not THE toughest job ever - you're on duty 24/7! Take care, Donna Subject: Re: no vacation for me:( 2009 goalTo: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 5:11 PM darcy,it is also known as hand, foot and mouth disease. small painful/and or itchy blisters inside the mouth, on the hands and feet. not sure where he caught it. hoping no one else gets it.oh, i wish i could say i was working out. haven't quite figured how to fit it in right now. lately i have been very tired (not sleeping well at night) and have headaches during the day. my weight loss has been stalled for a couple of weeks. same weight for two weeks!! i know how to get back to losing so this week i will be keeping track of everything i put in my mouth--i want that 1/4 pound gone and get to my 10 pound goal. it also helps to go grocery shopping--we are eating whatever we have in the pantry and freezer.kids 24/7--it is killing me slowly. i love them and they are fun but i crave adult contact and just a little time (well, more than a little!!) to myself. getting a shower is wonderful--quite often the best part of my day!stacey
Guest guest
You're so sweet Donna... I shake my head and wonder how I stay sane often too. Currently, I have a box of mac & cheese in the bathroom.. a jar of taco sauce on the bed.. a plunger laying around here somewhere (kitchen one), amongst the millions toys, and other stuff I'm just not mentioning... LOL... Picking up after the rugrats 24/7 is what causes me to go insane. Taking care of them is not a problem. It's the freaking messes!!! UGH..Darcy Hi Darcy and Stacey! Guest guest
Hi Darcy! That is too funny - I have days like that, too - and I only have ONE. I fear what it would be like w/ more. Cleaning up the messes is a big issue - my DD is getting old enough to help a little - but it often takes a lot of "management" and sometimes things end up worse than if I just did them myself! I think the "scatteredness" of being at home w/ kids is what drives me the most crazy - it is virtually impossible to accomplish anything w/out being interrupted which sort of results in nothing actually getting done. That, and the noise is what bugs me the most! Guest guest
darcy, food doesn't stay in my kitchen, either, lol. natalie just wrote all over her shirt with a marker and shredded a piece of tissue paper. i find small parts (mostly lego s and bionicles) all over the place!! it is true, the small messes everywhere are hard to take. stacey > > > > > > Subject: Re: no vacation for me:( 2009 goal > > To: exercisevideos > > Date: Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 5:11 PM > > > > darcy, > > it is also known as hand, foot and mouth disease. small painful/and or > > itchy blisters inside the mouth, on the hands and feet. not sure where > > he caught it. hoping no one else gets it. > > > > oh, i wish i could say i was working out. haven't quite figured how to > > fit it in right now. lately i have been very tired (not sleeping well > > at night) and have headaches during the day. my weight loss has been > > stalled for a couple of weeks. same weight for two weeks!! i know how > > to get back to losing so this week i will be keeping track of > > everything i put in my mouth--i want that 1/4 pound gone and get to my > > 10 pound goal. it also helps to go grocery shopping--we are eating > > whatever we have in the pantry and freezer. > > > > kids 24/7--it is killing me slowly. i love them and they are fun but i > > crave adult contact and just a little time (well, more than a little!!) > > to myself. getting a shower is wonderful--quite often the best part of > > my day! > > stacey > > > > > > > > >
