Guest guest
>>The Cenaverde TD MB12 I think is great stuff, Sandy and Tim have had success with it too as I recall, the americans and hence most DAN's don;t have the same type of TD, theirs is in a cream, or at least it was Mandi x I think the jury is still out on transdermal MB12....but even that (which is not absorbed into the bloodstream as effectively) seemed to make a difference for us. Re: MB12 spray and other stuff from Dennis the Che... Hi Vicky It is a 'pump action' spray so you stick the nozzle up a nostril and breathe in whilst spraying. I dont know of any info that compares the shots to the spray - but I have heard that there is anecdotal evidence being shared amongst biomedical practitioners that the spray is as good as the shots. I think the jury is still out on transdermal MB12....but even that (which is not absorbed into the bloodstream as effectively) seemed to make a difference for us. Guest guest
Hi Zoe, I’m also fighting with mb12 administration. We started with the shots (at night) but after a while he realized what was going on and it got very difficult to do the injection. So we switched to nasal...which is not so easy either because his nostrils are very small and it was also difficult to make sure he ‘inhaled’ the stuff (not that he would cooperate for that stuff either) and incidentally I found some oral mb12 at my local pharmacy. So far my findings: the oral doesn’t make any difference (but it has no intrinsic) the nasal works but not as well as the shots...so we are back to shots during the day and we just do it ‘the hard way’ my husband holding him as firm as he can and I injecting as quick as I can. I use xylocaine cream and I make sure I take the shot out 30 min before doing it so it’s at room temperature, so it’s less painful. Both the shots and nasal come from Fiorentini. Our DAN recommended Perque for the oral brand but I couldn’t find it and I think we’ll go on with the shots. Note: I used the spray for my throat while a was starting strep infection and it disappeared with one spray only. I tried after Stan Kurtz (the father who started with Valtrex and mb12 cure) and a few other parentss did the same finding. So it’s nice to have the spray at home anyway. Hope this can help Senta Hi Zoe, this is the one Yasko recommends although there may be others with intrinsic factor out there: http://www.holisticheal.com/store/product.php?productid=215 & cat=0 & page=1 <http://www.holisticheal.com/store/product.php?productid=215 & amp;cat=0 & amp;page=1> these are tablets, not sure if put under tongue, but anyway the idea is that b12 does not get absorbed in the gut if there is an absence of INTRINSIC factor, therefore supplied here alongside b12. this IF stuff is actually well known, it is absent in pernicious anemia (body unable to absorb b12 therefore deficient) and also in chronic viral and bacterial infections, like HIV patients are known not to absorb b12 as IFactor is blocked by the virus - so probably something similar happening with our kids. our son was not a responder to any form of b12 so have not tried this combo, but if your son is a responder and shots are hard then probably worth trying... even sublinqual without IF, you never know - btw a friend who suffered CFS tried sublinqual spray (without IF) and loved it, it really pulled her from the dead she said. used this one http://store.agoodvitamin.com/puadbsp1floz.html hth Natasa > > > > > > > > Zoe I might be interested in the spray, we used to do the > > > injections but had > > > > trouble getting the right strength. > > > > Can you tell me how the spray works, does the child have to > > > sniff it up? > > > > Sorry if that is a completely ridiculous question, also is > there > > > any info > > > > anywhere on how it compares to the injections? > > > > TIA > > > > Vicky > > > > > > > > > >
