I do buy it in it's pure form, and it is very bland, no flavor at all. It doesn't have additives I think, it's distilled. My understanding is that " sweet " has to do with the shape of the molecule, not how it is digested. Which is why Stevia can be sweet even though it has no energy to speak of. Right, but stevia has a different sweetness that's not very similar to sugars, whereas the sweetness of coconut milk and butter IMO is. If MCT oil isn't sweet, that pretty much thwarts the fatty acid-->sweet idea I guess. Suze, sweet cream is as opposed to sour cream, just means it's not fermented.
