Guest guest
Hi! I'm , and I'm new to this group. I love perfume -- always have. But when they started making perfumes with tons of synthetics, I found I could not use them anymore -- they literally make me sick. And I've always wanted to make my own perfumes, from natural ingredients, and hope to take the courses offered here, so I can learn how to do this. I miss beautiful perfumes I used to wear: Chanel #5; Mitsuko; 1,0000 -- I adored Crepe de Chine! I also loved Bakir -- so deep, warm, and sweet. I love what someone said here about " painting scents " , as I love all kinds of art, and perfumery (is that the right term?) is a high art form, to me. And I love not just the scents themselves, but what they can make us feel and think, and memories they create, or bring back. I believe strongly in no animal testing, and I don't support companies that do it or profit from it, and as much as I can afford to do so, buy only natural, non-chemical products and foods. I love fireworks, kaleidoscopes, good books, the beauty of nature, wonderful craftsmanship (antiques, crafts, etc.) good food, and a lovely garden. I'm divorced, but would love to marry again, when my soul mate shows up. (And he will have on really good cologne!) Thanks for having me here! I am so happy to read about you and your ideas and knowledge, and to share this love of natural perfume, and the art of making it.
