Guest guest
Now that I have these beautiful jars sitting here and I know I can use it the way I use lard, let me ask another use type question. Somewhere in the back of my little head I remember folks taking their cod liver oil with butter oil, I believe. Would taking it with ghee be the same? Guest guest
Belinda- No, for two reasons. First, centrifuged butter oil (Price-style) is only a fraction of the oil part of butter, and the X factor is supposed to be much more concentrated in centrifuged butter oil than it is in butter, clarified or turned into ghee or otherwise. Second, the X factor is supposed to be heat labile, so the cooking process that generates ghee almost certainly destroys it. >Somewhere in the back of my little head I remember folks taking their >cod liver oil with butter oil, I believe.
