don't confuse Sandalwood oil as you mention with  wood base as it is specified

in your Wikipedia reference.....?

if you distilate jasmine flowers on S.wood oil , you could not get any light

floral perfume from jasmine in your final mix as the perfume of jasmine is so

light , fragile that we dont use hydro-distillation for this flower , only

Concrete ( chassis or solvent ) to get Absolute !

wood base would be a fixative for the volatile top notes of jasmine , not the

body of a tree !

and your " bible " doesn't mention the concentration of " wood  " in the base !
