Hi Penny, Folks.....

Anyone who has been around EOs for *any* amount of time, would know that

what Penny says is *dead nuts* on the mark....

Anyone who says their EOs are chemically consistent, always, is talking

about altered EOs, plain and simple...There is a lot that can be done,

to produce a consistent EO at the distillery....EO distilling is both a

scientific process, and an art...BUT....!

Ma Gaia, wonderful, and beneficial as she is, will always have her say,

with her creations...

As far as " therapeutic " ....heck, a salt water gargle above a certain

percentage of dissolved salt IS " therapeutic " also.....<G>....! You

might as well give that a grade....As giving one to an EO...

And besides, by buying a consistently standardized EO....All natural

ingredient alteration (Lavender 40/42 anyone?) regardless....You deprive

yourself of running across that occasional Gem of an EO, because of

Nature's inherent quirks, that blows your socks off, in comparison to

others...

And people....they do occur...!

Yeah....Ma Gaia can be stingy at times....but when she chooses to be

generous....! You have to take her as she is, in my way of thinking...

How can these outfits...YL, DoTerra, etc. seem to get away with selling

a fib....? Read their copy wording very carefully....100% Pure, all

Natural, Therapeutic, etc., may be actually truthful....But adulteration

of an EO, even with any other Pure and Natural substance, is still

adulteration, the way I see things...This is not even necessarily

bad....Hey, they can give a crap EO they mistakenly bought some

credential, and use, by doing so...

The before mentioned Lav 40/42 is a World Wide standardized

example...There is a reason this exists...Is it better than a high

altitude unadulterated Lavender....? You tell me....Depends on where

you're coming from...

I, personally, have both...

All depends on where you lay your line down, in interacting with Ma

Gaia....That's a personal thing...Marketing claims or no....

One more thing....NO ORGANIZATION, IT DOES NOT MATTER *WHO* THEY SAY

THEY ARE, HAS THE " BEST " OF *EVERY* EO FOR SALE, UNLESS VERY LIMITED IN

SCOPE....! IT IS AT BEST, AD HYPE, AT WORST, AN IGNORANT DENIAL OF

REALITY....ALL HIGH QUALITY, YES....THE BEST, NO. IF YOU UNDERSTAND THIS

*ONE* DICTUM, THEN YOU WILL FARE WELL WHEN DEALING WITH EOS AND THOSE

WHO PURVEY THEM, IN THE FUTURE.

This issue is the same, as a coupla decades ago...Never seems to change...

PS. Whilst I believe in Climate Change, I also believe, sadly, there is

squat, Homo Sap can do about it...If Gaia is going to have a hot flash,

it is arrogance, on our part, to think we can do much about it...There

are dinosaur fossils above the Arctic Circle....I'm sure the dinosaur

scientists and civilizations did their best to stop the warming trend

then...But it happened anyway...

Ma Gaia has been there before...

I mention this, because this could also effect future crops of

EOs...Perhaps both good and ill.....
