Doesn't change my eating habits one bit, but it does make me feel better for the hour drive to pick up a beef (almost) directly from the farmer. Actually their depiction of the Meatrix was more logical than the original movie -- brains producing energy I couldn't quite get, but bodies producing meat, THAT makes sense. -- Heidi

Moo-theis, heh. >Actually their depiction of the Meatrix was more >logical than the original movie -- brains producing >energy I couldn't quite get, but bodies producing >meat, THAT makes sense. Having worked in large companies sitting in a cubical all day, I totally understand the row upon row of brains producing enegery for the larger matrix! Another good movie is Soylent Green which takes it to the next level: people as food.
Guest guest
, <<Another good movie is Soylent Green which takes it to the next level: people as food.>> --- my DH always mentions Soylent Green as one of his favourite movies of all times... couldn't watch it myself when shown on TV here, maybe as I was still a vegetarian at the time :-) another very different film re people as food which I HAVE seen [more than once] is the hilarious French film 'Delicatessen' Dedy

Not to far off from some of the current " food " though, except they charge high prices for this semi-food (from soy, not people). -- Heidi

Even poorly-nourished people are probably a significant improvement over tofu. -- Berg bberg@...
