Hi Everyone:

I started this group in June 2002 for the express purpose of

education in natural perfumery. Because of the sharing of tips,

techniques, core material and much more, the group is the best

resource on the planet for natural perfumery. Whether you're a

perfumer, soaper, incense maker or any other allied natural

aromatics user, you can find a lot of otherwise-unavailable

information here.

How about we move through the 10th year of our group by having an

" aromatic group of the month " thread? Just hit reply and fill in

what you know about that aromatic family and all of the

individual essences that make it up. In tune with our Guild

project this month, and recognizing how dark and gloomy January

can be in many regions around the world, how about a nice citrusy

start to this series?

All you have to do is hit reply, and please delete the post

before you so you have a clean slate to write your contribution.

That way, in the future, anyone wanting info on citruses can

easily search the thread with ease.

You can post as many times as you want in the thread. Maybe

you'll post about individual aromatics, maybe you'll post about

accords that work - or don't. It's up to y'all to make this as

complete as possible.

Here's to the educational spirit of the group, and the sharing

nature of the members!

PS: don't forget, when you reply - delete what I wrote, and add

your post. Thanks.
