All,

I have just joined this group and I am excited to plumb the depths of your

knowledge.

I am a hobbyist who is just starting to blend and mix his own colognes and

perfumes for self and family/friends.

I have been perusing the copious amounts of files, what a treasure trove!

However, I have not had success opening many of the files. I receive an message

like file not found. Are the file archives fully populated? Am I doing

something wrong by double clicking on a file? I have successfully opened

perhaps 2-3 of the files I have clicked on.

Right now my primary interest is developing a notebook of formulas and learning

the complimentary base, mid, and top notes found in essential oils. I have had

success with some basic lotion scents. In fact, I have a lotion that my wife

credits with preventing her from developing stretch marks during her recent,

first pregnancy. However, I want to create more complex scents, and I want to

create my own signature scent. Any recommendations of some scent formulas that

will help develop my nose and expand my horizon as I work on a signature scent?

Thanks so much!

Daddy B
