Guest guest
________________________________  PS: anyone want to go steal the blossoms from 's work parking lot? *giggle* I already have! I picked two blooms and brought them home and put them on my beside table. The room was scented for two days and nights! I'll be visiting those trees quite often ! Oh, by the way, we also have planters full of rosemary too. Every night when I'm leaving work I brush the plants with my hands, inhale the fumes from my palms and spread the scent all over my beard, face, and hair. It not only is wonderful, it stays for quite a while. It also freshens me up and keeps me from smelling like kitchen stink. Guest guest
Hi ein Sof, What do you mean exactly by " organic alcohol. " What kind of organic alcohol do you use for your perfumes now? I have passed on your question about the Dutch aromatic treasures to a Dutch aromatherapy newsgroup. I'll let you know the outcome asap! During which months will you stay in Holland? Kind regards, Brigitta

Brigitta ~~~~~~~ gezellig! thank you SO MUCH Brigitta! by organic alcohol i mean mixed grain or preferably grape alcohol... although, i suppose any perfumer's alcohol would suffice... i just prefer organic for obvious reasons. i am hoping to be in A'Dam in April, May, June and the first week of July (although i will be traveling that week to the Canary Islands and France.) i am busy learning about Hagsleg, gezelligheit, and the color orange. *grin* thank you for your help!! much light, einsof

Guest guest
hello brigitta, > By the way, what on earth means “Hagsleg?” hagelslag! for the rest of the group: these are chocolate sprinkles, dutch people eat them on a slice of buttered white bread, not toast. they also work well of beschuit (this word surely must sound very strange to foreigners) with is the traditional base for muisjes, which is eaten when a child is born. to einsof: get chocolade hagelslag. otherwise it's not real chocolate, but a cheap substitute. best, guido.
