Guest guest
> I am currently mixing EO's, absolutes & concretes in jojoba oil. I tried Everclear and did not care for it. I am a patchouli girl from eons ago, and I adore oily perfumes. I am wondering if there is any hard and fast rule on having the heavy stuff drop out in jojoba? I have no qualms about mixing and shaking my personal little amber bottle (would that they be those fancy violet colored ones, but one thing at a time.) What is the consensus? Hi Dana: Welcome to the group! If you mix heavier essential oils with a little fractionated coconut oil before adding them to your base, it will help them stay mixed. This works for the thick, tarry ones, too. Just remember to take the amount of frac. coconut into account in your formula. Good luck!
