Guest guest
That is what we are trying to find out but need more details.CE Grim MDYou are not looking at liver damage. You are looking at kidney damage. What scripts are you taking? Where is your blood pressure? Do you take it every day at home? Dr. Grim, could it be a result of uncontrolled HTN? Val From: hyperaldosteronism [mailto:hyperaldosteronism ] On Behalf Of Licia I could see if these results were twenty years ago then I'd say, yep. but I don't drinklike I did when I was in my twenties. dr's have never mentioned that and wouldn't thatbe relevant in the battery of tests and liver damage etc? It is a hyperactive aldersterone disease, issue, with me that is. Or else everyone that went to college etc would have kidney damage. Sojourn. Your creatinine is too high and your GFR is too low. Guest guest
So your creatinine has been 1.8 for 10 years?CE Grim MDI can go back ten years. It's really exhausting, those test were recently taken btwn Feb - May of this yr. When I look back tho through to 2001, it was still about the same. So what could have prevented, that because my pressure was soo darn high, maybe I should have had the adrenalectomy then. Now my kidneys prob, wouldn't withstand the operation. Jack ass Dr's. Excuse my French. How is a women of 28/with drastic high blood pressure not a red flag for something else? I wish I could sew these incompetent, laxadazicle(spl) half ass racist!! Tiped sad Send form miiPhone ;-)May your pressure be low!CE Grim MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension It would be great experience for me to learn whether such a low GFR is due to kidney damage, and whether such kidney damage is due to something like alcohol consumption or even alcohol consumptions of parents/grandparents....etc. Max. I have been going to specialists and general dr. I don't know what immediate medical attention means. How much more immediate is taking about 2 scripts @ 3 & 4x's a day, iron, sembastatin, thyroid meds, vitimin B100 and A and A and D. and prescripbed vitimin D. What more do I need to be doing? All I know is I gained too much weight and that is pissing me off! I don't eat like a bottomless pit, so I know it must be water in me. Then when I read, it says it is dangerous to consume water. So frustrating. And I don't have all this time to stay in the dr's offices. I work at night ext. It is a drag. U think I need to take leave of abscene? Guest guest
It always dumbfounds me when i read posts that sound like folks think that medical care is a right and that all doctors are to blame for not connecting all the dots to solve your problem. Educate yourself so you can help them, help you. That is what this forum is for. Most of us here have learned alot from the grace and generosity of Dr. Grim. The human body is extremely complex. Medicine is an art, as well a a science. You are dealing with other humans who are there trying to assist as many people as they can. They dont always get it right...as we all know first hand. I have had doctors from every ethic background working on my case. Racism has nothing to do with your diagnostic process and there is no place for it on this forum. That said, I will assume you were being funny in your comment, so I am not offended, this time around. We all get scared when we are facing life altering conditions. Relax, be gentle, and become a sponge for the knowledge and wisdom you can gleen from this forum. I have personnally learned alot here. We are absolutely very lucky to have a retired specialist giving back to the world and possibly helping many here save their own lives. So, welcome to the forum and I hope it can provide you with some guidance to improve your life. ============================================================================45-Male-Caucasian, 5'9"- 234lbs, PA Diagnosed 2007 Suspected Hyperplasia-No tumors on CT - No AVS.Meds: 50mg Spiro, 1200mg Calcium, 500mg Magnesium, 100,000UI Vit D (weekly), 20mg OmeprazoleSide effects: Gynecomastia, stomach inflammationOther Diags: GERD, Hiatal Hernia, Metabolic Syndrome - PreDiabetic, Secondary Hyperparathyroidism caused by Renal calcium leak, Bone Cyct in left Femoral Head and Pelvis. Guest guest
That's true. I was having a moment. Subject: Re: Dr Grim Lab Results FinallyTo: "hyperaldosteronism " <hyperaldosteronism >Date: Thursday, May 12, 2011, 6:20 PM It always dumbfounds me when i read posts that sound like folks think that medical care is a right and that all doctors are to blame for not connecting all the dots to solve your problem.
