My experience with Carlson's CLO is that it has absolutely no fishy taste

at all. The aspect of it that I find a little objectionable is simply the

oiliness, but I think that's more a matter of how I think of it. Taking

something oily that you think of as medicine, on a spoon, just isn't

palatable. But think of it as salad dressing, and suddenly the oiliness is

a plus!

Maybe they should package it in bottles that look like expensive olive oil

bottles.

You might try EZ-Cap beer bottles. I keep lots of stuff in

them -- they are tough, easy to pour, easy to cap,

easy to wash, and inexpensive. They also come in

lots of colors. MUCH easier to deal with than mason

jars, and they look so cool. They are good for vinegar,

kefir beer, oils. You can buy them at most homebrew

places.

My first exposure to cod liver oil was the Premier brand. I wondered what

all the fuss was about the offensive taste - it doesn't taste bad at all! I

also kind of like it...

I like it too. I'm using Carlson's right now, but prefer the taste of

Premier.

I love cod liver oil. The Premier stuff tastes just like I remember

it as a kid (very willing child consumer). I use Carlson's when I'm

out of the Premier and don't like it as much, but still have no

problem taking it. I don't like the lemon flavored one.

I know what you mean. The lemon flavor really detracts from the taste of the

cod liver oil.
