Hi Everyone,

I really did NOT want to get up this morning. Soooo

tired...anyway, when I finally did get myself out of

bed I did T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch for my warm-up,

then I did Moreno's Yoga Fusion Kickbox

workout. I only did the express 30 min workout -

which did not contain any yoga at all! I do look

forward to trying the full workout on this DVD, but

I'm thinking it may end up in the trade pile.

does do an excellent job of cueing and the

outdoor scenery is gorgeous, but, I'm not sure if this

one is intense enough for me. The 30 min express

workout moved very slowly - it is not " choreographed "

kickboxing, but more punching/kicking drills - there

is quite a bit of instruction and repetition (the

whole express workout was one long combo built add-on

style with taking it from the top), which would be

great for a beginner to this form of exercise, but for

someone who is more experienced it is slow paced and

really not sufficient to get the HR up at all. I have

plans to do the full version of it next week during my

P90X recovery week and I'll see how it is then. I

think adding weighted gloves would help, but still not

sure that even with that modification it would be one

I would use often. I do like , though and I'm

eager to try more of her workouts - I've had her

Inten-Sati yoga workout for a long time (a trade from

early this year) and I think I have one or two of her

dance workouts to try as well. She does have a new

yoga workout available - Yoga Dance Fusion which I'm

curious to try. I do like her presence and her warm

personality, but not sure if the Kickboxing one is a

keeper or not yet.

After 's workout, I did another primary back

stretch with T-Tapp to loosen up (I will say that the

slow pace and emphasis on form in 's workout

does work the torso nicely!) then went on to Tony in

Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. Still a hard one - it

is those darn push-ups, they never get any easier and

I don't seem to be getting any better at them.

However, on a bright note, for some of the other

exercises with weights, I can see improvement and will

need to go up next time I do this workout - I think it

comes around again in weeks 10 & 12. I have decided

to suck it up and finish P90X, even thoug a part of me

wants to ditch them and do something else. I figure

after recovery week, I only have 4 weeks to go! I

still don't feel like I'm " officially " doing this

rotation - I do make modifications and substitutions,

but I guess that is life, right?

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day. I'm starting my

baking today - I need to do some baking for gifts, so

I just have my fingers crossed I can resist eating it.

Take care!

Donna
