Guest guest
I have some pastured chickens i bought that are intended for stock (with the feet!). I guess they were old birds. My question is, is the meat intended to be eaten? If so, how? Elaine
Guest guest
Elaine, you can eat the meat but don't cook it for more than 2 hours... lift chicken/carcass out remove meat and return the bones to the stock for the usual length of time... you can use it in salads or make fritters with the meat. Guest guest
Elaine, <<thanks! what's a fritter?>> ----- a burger is a fritter if you like, hash-browns too... anything made from any number of ingredients, all mixed/mashed up, shaped into a flat-'ish' form and shallow fried...
